CONTRACT FOR SALE

The advertising of products on this site is an 'invitation to treat'. That means your order is an offer, not a contract of sale between you and Trotters, so prices and stock availability won't be contractually confirmed until you receive the 'confirmation of order' email sent once credit card authorisation has been confirmed and stock levels have been checked.

These terms and conditions cannot be varied except by changes made by Trotters on the site, which we may make from time to time. In particular, nothing said by any representative of Trotters will operate as a variation to these terms and conditions or constitutes a legal representation on behalf of them.

RECEIPT OF ORDER

Trotters must receive payment in full for your order before it can be accepted. Once your credit card has been authorised and the stock is checked, Trotters will send you an email receipt confirming your order. Please keep this receipt for your records. Trotters reserve the right to refuse to supply to any person for whatever reason.

CANCELLATIONS & EXCHANGES

If you realised you made a mistake and want to cancel your order, please contact us. Since we despatch quickly it may not be possible to stop your order so please follow the instructions for Returning a Product in those instances. Exchanges work in the same way. It will be faster to re-order a product rather than send it back for an exchange, so please follow the above instructions while you order the product you would like instead. We realise this means two transactions on your credit card but feel it is faster for you to get the product you would like.

DEFECTIVE & DAMAGED ITEMS

If you believe that something is missing from your order or you have received a faulty, damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 28 days so we can arrange a replacement for you. In most cases you will need to provide photo evidence and/or return it to us before we can replace it or refund you.

SALE

Goods offered at a sale price on the Trotters website may have been on sale in another Trotters store at the higher price for a period of no less than 28 days.

COMPLETE SATISFACTION PROMISE

Trotterslondon.com (Trotters) guarantees your total satisfaction with our products and services. In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return the items to us within 28 days of receipt of order and we will be happy to exchange or refund, providing the goods are returned unused, unwashed and in their original packaging.

PAYMENT & TAXES

You are able to purchase from the Trotters website using USD ($). We accept online payment in a secure environment. Currently, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Switch, AMEX, PayPal, Apple Pay & Google Pay. Please note, payments made via PayPal will automatically be converted and charged in GBP (£). 

 

For delivery within the USA, products will normally be zero-rated and not subject to UK sales tax (VAT), but the price paid by you for the products will remain the same as shown on the Website.

Any additional charges for international delivery, including import duty, formal customs entry, taxes, levies and other charges that may be levied outside the UK will be your responsibility as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict them. The recipient of the goods, not the person placing the order, will receive a separate request for payment of these charges. If you’re ordering products to be delivered to someone else, please ensure they’re aware that they’ll be responsible for these additional charges.

DISCLAIMER

Trotters endeavour to keep the site up to date but cannot guarantee that this site and its contents are completely free of technical errors. By using this site, you acknowledge that you assume full responsibility for all costs associated with all necessary servicing or repairs of any equipment you use in connection with this site. We are also not liable for any damages associated with the use of this site however caused, incorrect prices or information.

If you are not satisfied with the site, then please e-mail our customer service team with your comments. However, your only legal recourse is to stop using the site.

COOL OFF PERIOD

Customers are legally entitled to cancel an order within 14 working days of receipt of the product and to return it, complete, in original condition for a full refund, including delivery charges, of the amount paid to the original card of purchase. Please note, return postage for international orders will be at the customer's expense.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

Trotters cannot guarantee that the sale and delivery of its goods to your particular country or location is permissible, so please be aware of your own geographic import restrictions. This site and its contents will not constitute the basis for any contractual commitment between Trotters and any prospective customer in any jurisdiction in which the solicitation of interest or the offering of or sale of products by ‘Trotters ‘ would contravene any applicable local, regional or national legislation. No prospective customer should seek to make any order through the site from jurisdictions in which it would be illegal for Trotters to sell products. Trotters will not be responsible for any misplaced delivers due to errors in inputting personal information.

LEGAL GOVERNANCE

Your use of this site and any contract between you and Trotters for the sale of products shall be governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these terms and conditions and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining provisions.

COPYRIGHT & OTHER RIGHTS

All materials including images, illustrations, designs, layout, photographs, written and other text or script that are part of this site are protected by copyright, trade mark, trade dress and/or other intellectual property rights owned, controlled or licensed to Trotters.

The site as a whole is protected by copyright and trade dress, all worldwide rights, titles and interests in and to which are owned by Trotters. The contents of the site and the site as a whole are intended solely for personal, non-commercial use. You may download or copy the contents and other downloadable materials displayed on the site for the sole purpose of placing an order with Trotters or using the site as a shopping resource.

No right, title or interest in any downloaded materials or software is transferred to you as a result of any such downloading or copying. You may not reproduce (except as noted above), publish, transmit, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works from, sell or participate in any sale of, or exploit in any way, in whole or in part, any of the contents, the site, or any related software.

USE OF DISCOUNT CODES

  • Discount codes are valid for orders placed online only.
  • Discount codes entitle you, at the time of ordering, to a saving on a new order placed with Trotters.
  • Trotters reserve the right to decline to accept orders where, in its opinion, a discount code is invalid for the order being placed.
  • Discount codes are only valid on specific products while stocks last and may be withdrawn at any time.
  • Discount codes are valid for one use only.
  • Only one discount code can be used per order.
  • Discount codes are not valid in conjunction with any other promotion. Offer is not valid on vouchers, sale items or other discounted or multi-buy items.
  • Discount code exclusion list (non-exhaustive and subject to change): Personalised Products, Jellycat Branded, Gift Vouchers, Hairdressing and Shipping costs.

The Trotters London mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by Trotters Childrenswear & Accessories Limited (“Trotters” , “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

By consenting to Trotters’ SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages with service-related messages, including updates, alerts, and information and promotional messages, including promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders) from and on behalf of Trotters via text messages through your network provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialling system or other technology.

You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with Trotters . Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.

We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your network provider. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply from your network provider. Check your mobile plan and contact your network provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your network provider.

You may opt-out of the Service at any time. If you are based in the US or Canada, text the single keyword command STOP to +1 (855) 807-7621. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other Trotters mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms. For Service support or assistance, text HELP to +1 (855) 807-7621 (in US or Canada) or email customerservice@trotters.co.uk .

We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a short code or telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honouring requests made in such messages.

The network providers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.
